Terms and Conditions of Kanavu Cross Country Run

     

Event Registration:

  • Registration fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.
  • All T-shirts should be procured from the Kanavu Startup Village premises on or before 20-Jun-2023.
  • Participants must complete the registration process and provide accurate and truthful information.
  • Participants must meet the minimum age requirements and any other eligibility criteria specified by the organizer.

Assumption of Risk:

  • Participants acknowledge and accept that participating in a cross country run involves inherent risks, including but not limited to physical exertion, weather conditions, uneven terrain, and the actions of other participants.
  • Participants voluntarily assume all risks associated with participating in the event and release the organizer from any liability for any injury, loss, or damage arising from their participation.

Health and Safety:

  • Participants must follow all instructions, rules, and regulations provided by the organizer and any event officials.
  • Participants must be in good health and physically fit to participate in the event. It is recommended that participants consult with a medical professional prior to the event.
  • The organizer reserves the right to disqualify or remove any participant from the event if their behavior is deemed unsafe, inappropriate, or in violation of the terms and conditions.

Event Changes and Cancellation:

  • The organizer reserves the right to modify the event details, including the route, date, time, or cancel the event due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to inclement weather, natural disasters, or any other situation that may compromise the safety of participants.
  • In the event of cancellation, the organizer will make reasonable efforts to communicate the changes to participants and provide alternatives, such as rescheduling or refunding registration fees, as determined by the organizer.

Photography and Media:

  • Participants grant the organizer the right to use photographs, videos, and any other media captured during the event for promotional purposes without any compensation to participants. b. Participants must obtain the necessary permissions from individuals featured in their own personal photographs or videos taken during the event.

Intellectual Property:

  • All intellectual property rights associated with the event, including logos, trademarks, and content, are the property of the organizer and may not be used without prior written consent.

Limitation of Liability:

  • The organizer, its affiliates, sponsors, and volunteers shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from or in connection with the event, including but not limited to personal injury, loss, or damage to property.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction:

  • These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Erode jurisdiction. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with the event shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Erode.
